Day 1 & 2 of the June Challenge

June 2nd 2013   Filed under Beach, Uncategorized, Workout - Posted At: 8:34 pm

So starting off my challenge my before picture, fit test and measurements are here. I also completed the Boarding School Workout and the Burpee Challenge. The Boarding School Workout out is 10 Squats, 10 Bicycle Crunches, 10 Lying Leg Lifts, 15 Standing Calf Raises, and 10 Tricep Dips. Do this 3 times for a full workout. Then, add in the 5 Burpees to complete the challenge.

Yesterday I went to the beach and had a great time with to good friends from High School. We left at 9:15am and arrived after a couple detours and a dumb GPS, we arrived at 11am. We then laid on the beach until 1:30pm and attempted to go into the water but it was freezing! After the beach we put the cooler and blankets in the car and walked on the boardwalk while eating some Curly fries. Then, we went to the movies and saw the Hangover Part 3. We were a little skeptical about the movie because we heard a lot of bad reviews. I honestly liked the movie! After the movie, we stopped at Applebee’s for dinner and had some drinks. I had two drinks which were
Orange Dream Martini and Applebee's Gold Margarita

I haven’t quite started tonights workout but I will before the nights over!

Home for 3 Weeks

January 3rd 2013   Filed under Book, TV Show, Workout - Posted At: 1:50 am

I promised a bunch of friends at college I would watch The Walking Dead. Let me tell you, I did not know what I was signing up for! They were always up having all-nighters watching the show. However, I had early morning classes and homework to do. Therefore, I never participated. I figured over break a day or two I would watch all the episodes to catch up. Boy was I wrong; I could barely handle one episode. The next day I watched two and before I knew it season one was over. Tonight I started Season 2 trying three episodes. Not happening. My stomach is aching and my heart is pounding. I had to exit out the episode in the middle just too much for me to handle.

I started an eBook on my Kindle last night, Letters to Gabriella. I liked the book, especially after reading Fifty Shades. This book had some little tid-bit sex scenes. Nothing compares to 50 Shades. Although, I did not like that, the title is “Letters to Gabriella” and she only read one or two of the letters. The book was barely about the letters.

Tonight I finally made it over to Island Fitness for Total Body with Ashlie. It was fantastic. I am so used to doing Tabata in her class that this little change since I have been gone was worth it. They started doing the 52 Deck of Cards Workout. This workout is when you do a move(s) for each card. The total time to this should be around 30 minutes. Tonight we did wall sits, planks, superman’s, lunges, squats, and burpees.

All in all, it was a great day, despite my past couple weeks being shut up in this house.

Happy New Year!

January 1st 2013   Filed under Workout - Posted At: 9:06 pm

It’s oficially a new year. I’m pretty excited for this new year. My goals for this year are getting a summer entry level job in the accounting field, more fit, and get good grades like I used to.

To start off this year being fit. I made a calendar for the month of January and am going to do today’s workout in a little bit. You can fin the calendar posted in full here.

This is going to be lots of fun!

In addition to a new year, I have a new semester coming up, which I am pretty stoked about. One less class. Phew! I have ordered my books and are having them sent to the house. I hope they are here in time.

Hopefully next time, I will go on some adventure and be able to post about it. Until then, I hope you have a good New Year’s.

Sims 3 Supernatural

December 30th 2012   Filed under Workout - Posted At: 1:28 am

My sister recently got the Sims 3 for her birthday in October and well my mother got her the Supernatural expansion pack. Needless to say, that’s all we hear her talk about. There’s Vampires, Witches/Warlocks, Zombies, Pixies, etc. I’m glad it’s putting her in a good mood too.

In addition, I have ordered my books for college. A new charger since mine decided to break (atleast it was on break) and a religious book. I decided to buy two, one to keep for myself and one to give to a Student Chaplain on campus. This student chaplain in particular helped me out a lot at the beginning of the year and let me borrow a book from her. I’m giving the book back and wanted to give her a little something for her help and hopefully it will become useful.

Other than that I haven’t done too much on this break except relax, which is by all means a good thing. :)

Tonight, I have decided to try one of the two Walking Dead workouts to go along with the series. I’m just starting the series because at college everyone talks about it and well, I want to hop on the bandwagon. Plus, I also get a good workout to go along with it. I’m pretty happy with being so on top of working out. I think the blog is helping me keep track and stay on track.

Here’s what I have done so far in the first episode.
40 Crunches
30 Squats
75 Bicycle Crunches
70 Arm Circles (Jump rose, but I don’t have one on me)

Working Those Legs Tonight

December 29th 2012   Filed under Workout - Posted At: 3:06 am

Tonight, I have decided to do a leg workout thanks to Ashlie for giving it to me. I decided to take some out because I don’t want to wake the whole house, jumping around.

20 Lunges on both legs
16 Squats
40 secs Narrow Squat
20 Side Lunges, each leg
20 Heel Up-Down’s

Merry Christmas!

It is officially Christmas here in Jersey. So excited for tomorrow to have turkey and see everyone. :) What a joyous time! Tonight, my family and I went to the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. It was fantastic and I loved every second of it! Tonight’s workout is a Ballet Barre Workout.

10 Penche’s on Each Leg
20 Wide Plie’s
10 Leg Lift’s on Each Leg
10 Pretzel Extension’s on Each Leg

I believe that is all I have for tonight. Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas Eve!

I couldn’t resist a late night (or ealry morning) workout. I always feel like this is the best time for me to workout, but I’m afraid that I will wake everyone in the house up. Here’s what I did:

2:15 of Squats
30 Bicycle Crunches
27 Parachutes

Well I was going to do some Calf Raises and Tricep Dips but it’s almost two in the morning so I’ll go easy on myself. Now I am tired out and will probably sleep like a baby.
